The exhibition "Ingan kuos maaga" showcases a collection of landscapes imbued with a sense of yearning, which originated from a single tapestry. The piece titled "Nadine is in Portugal" emerged from the dissolution of a friendship, unexpectedly separated by distance. Driven by longing, I embarked on creating a series of drawings and designs depicting the Portuguese landscape, which I had only experienced through virtual walks on Google Maps. One of these designs eventually materialized into a tapestry, symbolizing the essence of our friendship intertwined with a distant foreign landscape. Within the woven threads, I interlaced longing itself alongside the essence of summer warmth, the joy of life, and well-wishes for a promising future, all intended for my dear friend residing in faraway Portugal. The exhibition proudly showcases a diverse array of the artist's works, including tapestries, embroideries, crocheted pieces, and pastel drawing. This marks the artist's second solo exhibition, an exciting continuation of their artistic journey.
